Following the success of our recent wine events, Turas Fíona promises to elevate the experience with six exclusive evenings featuring distinguished national and international speakers.
Our inaugural guest is the esteemed Dorli Muhr, whose fascinating journey in the world of wine has inspired enthusiasts globally.

Dorli’s passion for wine began during her university studies in French and Spanish, where she trained as an interpreter. This passion led her to establish Wine & Partners, a marketing and PR agency, in 1991. In 1995, Dorli turned her dreams of winemaking into reality, replanting fallow parcels on Spitzerberg. By 2002, she was producing wine alongside her then-husband, Dirk van der Niepoort. Today, Dorli solely manages the estate, continuing its legacy under her own name. She has also acquired a charming, historic house in Prellenkirchen, where she is relocating her business headquarters.
Her organically cultivated vineyards, certified since the 2018 vintage, are a testament to her commitment to sustainability. Dorli believes that wine should “refresh and invigorate the connoisseur.” Her philosophy emphasises finesse and elegance, reflected in her soft, natural winemaking methods. Maceration and fermentation occur in open vats, with spontaneous fermentation driven by wild yeasts. This patient process gently extracts colour, tannins, and aromas, preserving the unique character of Spitzerberg.
