Daróg is awarded ‘Bronnadh Speisialta na Moltóirí’ at Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh 2024
Last night was truly special at the Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh 2024 awards ceremony, hosted at the Hardiman Hotel, Eyre Square in Galway city. We had a wonderful evening, accompanied by fantastic entertainment from Trad on the Prom.
We are thrilled to have received the Bronnadh Speisialta na Moltóirí, a special award honouring businesses entering Gradam for the first time and achieving exceptional standards. This accolade, sponsored by Judy Greene Pottery, presented us with a stunning custom-made ceramic plate. We are passionate supporters of the language and are dedicated to weaving the beauty of the Irish language into the essence of Daróg.
A heartfelt Míle Buíochas to Gearóidín, Grace, Bríd, and the Gaillimh le Gaeilge team for their invaluable support and encouragement in our journey of integrating the Irish Language into Daróg and in promoting Galway as a bilingual city.
A Massive Comhghairdeas to Lally Tours, the overall winners of this year's Gradam. Their efforts in promoting the Irish language are truly commendable.
Congratulations to all this year’s Gradam winners, a big shoutout to our neighbours in Galway's Westend, who were proud Gradam winners last night: Just Art It and Murphy and Me.
Comhghairdeas to our friends in Irish Socksciety for winning the Gradam for the third consecutive year. Irish Socksciety excels in presenting the Irish language in an engaging and accessible manner through their products.
