Daróg wins ‘Best Sustainable Wine List’ at Star Wine List Awards

We are thrilled that Daróg has won the Best Sustainable Wine List for the second year in a row at this year’s Star Wine List Awards 🏆🍷

Working in a sustainable manner is very important to us. Our wine list focuses on showcasing wines from small Artisan producers who adhere to organic, biodynamic, and sustainable methods. This not only ensures the highest quality but also supports practices that are gentle on the earth. We’re always striving to grow and evolve, working each year to make our wine bar even more sustainable.

What the judges said:
“Although Ireland is not a wine-producing country, this place has managed to ‘support local’ in a very special way: by featuring the importer's name on the wine list. The selection is diverse, with an emphasis on promoting smaller wineries, and sustainable, biodynamic and organic farming wines. Plus, the daily operation is very environmentally friendly too. Well done!”

The winners of Star Wine List Ireland were announced yesterday at a ceremony during SommiT in Waterford, in collaboration with @IrishGuildSomm.
