"Fíon", the Irish word for wine, sets the stage for our mission to highlight diverse grape varieties and talented winemakers every month. This initiative celebrates the rich tapestry of flavours and aromas that the world of wine has to offer.
At Daróg, we are enthusiastic supporters of unique and exciting wines. To honour the rich wine heritage of Slovenia, we’ve devoted this month to showcasing its exceptional wines.
Slovenia’s winemaking history dates back to the Celtic tribes, as far back as 400 B.C.E. The landscape varies from Mediterranean coasts to Alpine mountains and fertile plains, offering a rich variety of both indigenous and international grape varieties, and, more importantly, some truly outstanding wines. Slovenian wines offer a delightful and diverse tasting experience.
